Quatrefoil Limestone Courtyard Fountain on a Manor Terrace

A broad quatrefoil basin in pale limestone, set flush into the paving of a terrace below a stone and timbered manor house. The wide rolled coping is deliberately generous so people sit on it, and the moulded base keeps the whole thing anchored to the ground rather than perched on it. Boxwood, iron furniture and clipped cypress complete the courtyard around it.
