Octagonal Limestone Fountain with Brass Scroll Water Spouts

A clean and quietly proportioned octagonal fountain in pale limestone. The basin rolls over at the coping, cants inward at the skirt and steps out again at the plinth, and the square tapered pillar is banded at the shaft under a moulded cap and ball finial. Two brass scroll spouts give the only warm note in the whole piece.
